🎲 Disclaimer & Safety: The Saving Throw Guide

Adventure is exciting, but safety is paramount. At Tanks Treasures Candle Company (TTCC), we want your experience with our candles and Aly’s crochet work to be legendary, not hazardous. Please follow these guidelines to ensure you don’t suffer any "Critical Fails" at home.

1. Candle Safety (The Alchemist’s Warning)

Our candles are designed to set the mood for your next campaign, but they involve real fire. By purchasing our candles, you agree to follow these safety protocols:

  • Never Leave Unattended: Do not leave a burning candle "AFK" (Away From Keyboard). Always keep it within your line of sight.

  • The 2-Inch Rule: Stop burning your candle when only 1/2 inch of wax remains in the bottom of the jar. Burning it past this point can cause the glass to overheat and crack.

  • Clear the Area: Keep candles away from flammable objects—including curtains, books, and especially your character sheets.

  • Trim the Wick: Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4 inch. This prevents the flame from becoming a "Fire Elemental" (too large) and reduces soot.

  • Child & Pet Safety: Keep candles out of reach of "young squires" and animal companions.

2. Crochet & Pattern Disclaimer (The Weaver’s Notice)

Aly’s patterns and finished goods are crafted with love, but please note the following:

  • Small Parts: Some crochet items (like those with safety eyes) contain small parts that can be a choking hazard for children under 3 or pets.

  • Pattern Results: When purchasing a PDF pattern, your final result depends on your skill level and materials used. TTCC is not responsible for "failed rolls" in the crafting process, though we are happy to answer pattern questions!

  • Skill Level: Please check the Skill Level listed on each pattern before purchasing to ensure it matches your current "Level."

3. General Liability Disclaimer

While we partner with high-quality white-label manufacturers and master crafters, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, fire damage or injury) arising from the use of our products.
